Well... First, let me say how incredibly helpful EVERYONE has been/is being with the training, proposal, and production process for this new show. Amy, Matt, Joel, Chris, Adam, the Program Advisory Committee and everyone at WERU are so knowledgable, helpful, and fun. Why am I surprised? Why would I expect anything else?
At Unity College my administration (Amy, Mitch, Rob, Alisa, Chris) received the proposal to do a joint venture with WERU with such enthusiasm. I guess that is predictable as well. I mean, what's not to like? Two great counties, two great Maine institutions, a whole bunch of lovely people, and plenty of CommUnity!
I've even talked to friends at MOFGA who have given me some pointers about being a newbie radio producer. Some people are so helpful it makes me mad!
WERU's Program Advisory Committee voted to give Mid-Coast Currnets the thumbs up at their meeting on November 8. Of course, every new show is approved with probationary status. Thanks to the PAC!
Here we go, "Live and Lively on third Friday!"
